Frequently Asked Questions

I am not a member. Can I host a party at Fort Washington Pool?

A: No. Only members over the age of 21 are allowed to host a pool party. All party applications are subject to approval by the board. There are several membership categories available to choose from.

How many guests can I invite?

A: You may invite up to 25 non-member guests. Limiting the number of non-member guests allows the pool to staff the correct number of required lifeguards. It also helps us avoid impact on members' enjoyment of the pool facilities.

How long before my party do I need to get approval from the Board?

A: A completed party form must be turned into the Fort Washington Pool Board a minimum of two weeks prior to the event.

Can I hold a party down at the beach area/dock?

A: You may have 4 non-members guests at any time without informing us. You may have up to 10 guests as a party total, if it is a combination of members and up to 4 non-members. In this situation, you do not have to inform the board and get approval. Please use the smaller “party deck” for these small gatherings; since the larger deck area is for all members to use at all times. There is no cost, but these larger parties should be approved by the pool board two weeks in advance so the dates can be placed on the pool activities calendar. Please remember that all dogs must be leashed.
