Welcome to the Fort Washington Pool Association (FWPA) web
site. We are a private community based association providing recreational
facilities and services for it's members since 1969, which include the
following:
Amenities:
- 25 Meter Pool - with diving board
- Swim Team - the Sharks
and Guppy program for young non-swimmers
- Senior Only Swim - 11:30am to
12:30pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday
- Boat Storage – Boats on
Trailers: $5.00 per foot (25ft Max.)
Canoes and kayaks $10 for season
- Boat Ramp - Dock and Pier
- Beach and Picnic/BBQ Areas –for members and
paid guests
- Social Events –pig roasts,
dive-in movie nights, bingo, family fun nights, ice cream socials, luaus, and other theme
events (see calendar).
Become a
shareholder or annual member. We offer shareholder membership discounts,
new member discounts, a volunteer service rebate, a referral bonus and an
installment payment plan. Also, we have an additional membership discount
for new shareholders who would like to enjoy the full breadth of our
facilities and services. Additionally, our shareholder and annual
membership fees are structured to accommodate families, senior citizens and
individuals.
Hours of Operation:
Pool
Memorial Day weekend to the end of school
- Monday thru Friday, 3:30pm until 8:30pm
- Saturday & Sunday, 12:30pm until 8:30pm
June
13th through Labor Day
- Everyday 12:30pm until 8:30pm
Beach, Boat
Ramp, Dock, Pier, and Picnic Areas
Shareholders have year round access.
Annual Members have access from May 28th through October 31st

Bulletins
As a
bonus to members, we have TRIPPLED the New Member Referral
Incentive Fee to $75.00 (!!!) for
every new member that joins and gives your name as the person recruiting
them to join. Increased membership is the best way to avoid dues and fee increases and still fund improvements and maintenance
requirements around the pool.
After keeping
the dues rates stable for the past three years, your Board of Directors
has raised the dues this year, just a nominal $25.00. BUT,
we're offering a new Early Bird Payment Incentive of $25.00 (discount from your dues) to all
returning members with all dues and fees paid in full by May
15th.
